Early Years Educator (KA – 4 Year Olds) IB PYP Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Educator for our 4-year-old students (KA). The ideal candidate will be skilled in implementing play-based learning, as we believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged and having fun.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver a play-based curriculum following the IB PYP framework.
• Implement effective pedagogical practices to promote student engagement, stimulate learning, and ensure inclusivity.
• Facilitate meaningful learning experiences for all students and foster their understanding of key concepts, skills, attitudes, and action.
• Establish a caring, creative, and inclusive classroom environment that respects children’s individual differences and promotes their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates about their child’s progress and activities.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to share strategies, ideas, and best practices, and participate in continuous professional development.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a similar role.
• Certified PYP teacher or willing to undergo training.
• Demonstrated experience with play-based learning.
• Strong understanding and commitment to the IB PYP philosophy and pedagogy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
